Message from Founder and Director
Marce International will accompany you on your journey of new possibilities and challenges.
Welcome to Marce International Language School, it’s a pleasure to meet you. I’m originally from Sonora, Mexico. At the age of 12, I fell in love with teaching and decided I wanted to be a teacher. Since then, I have been fascinated by how languages are learned and taught. I studied Early Childhood Education and specialized in teaching Spanish and English. Additionally, I am an educational consultant, author of books designed to help children learn Spanish, co-author of textbooks for university students, and a mother of two. I have also worked as a contributor for magazines published in Japan for the Spanish-speaking community, writing about education, bilingualism, and adapting to life in Japan.

I lived and studied in Scotland before coming to Japan, where I have been for 33 years. I have been teaching Spanish at Japanese universities for over 30 years; currently, I work at Rikkyo University and Waseda University while also directing Marce International. I have also worked at Chuo University, Seikei University, and Seisen University.
Our mission at Marce International is to be a supportive educational center for anyone interested in learning Spanish, English, and Japanese. We serve children from 5 months old to seniors, and we believe that anyone can learn and become bilingual or multilingual. To achieve this, we provide personalized attention tailored to the interests, needs, and goals of each student with us. Our wish is for each student to enjoy their learning process, learn the language they are studying correctly, and in the future, become happy with their knowledge, serving as a bridge of understanding and cooperation to build a better world.
